Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a cornerstone of Australia’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), offering participants the freedom of independent living in a supported and caring environment. SIL is more than just accommodation with a support worker on standby. SIL accommodation offers participants empowerment and independence with the opportunity to develop self-reliance and master crucial life skills.

At Connect Pathway SIL accommodation is a participant’s new home, a safe space in which to a learn, relax and develop relationships. Our SIL homes are tailored to meet the dreams and needs of our participants. Our care staff provide daily support matched to our participants’ needs, providing assistance with recurring activities such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and other daily essential tasks.

We work with you so that you can do as much as you are able, because it is your home!
